Dr. Kamboh's major research interest is on the genetics of common diseases of public health importance with a special emphasis on the genetic epidemiology of Alzheimer’s disease and cardiovascular disease. Since 1995, Dr. Kamboh has been instrumental in identifying and characterizing several Alzheimer's disease candidate genes. He has also assembled one of the largest and most powerful Alzheimer's disease case-control sample.
